Open Water is to Jaws as The Blair Witch Project is to ... err... not actually familiar enough with horror films to know what the best parallel would be.
Suffice it to say that like Blair Witch, Open Water was reasonably entertaining, shot on a shoe string, went for the "documentary" feel and finished on a down note.
