The Bourne Supremacy

Decent sequel to a decent prequel. No idea what the original Chamberlin movie or the books are like.

Supremacy is grittier than Identity... The fight sequences aren't as influenced by the (at the time) in vogue Hong Kong martial arts style. And the car chase does indeed have a gripping verisimilitude.

The movie is paced so that Bourne never has time to relax - there's always someone after him, or about to be after him. Will have to remember that rule... At least one plot twist I wasn't expecting (killing the girlfriend).

And Joan Allen is always watchable... she looks hot too with the long hair, not at all like she's pushing fifty.
