The Incredibles

Pixar's track record has been pretty remarkable - every single one of its features has been watchable and The Incredibles is no exception.

Unlike all of its predecessors however this one didn't feel like an animated movie... not sure precisely why. Maybe it was the understated and tongue-in-cheek opening credits or the lack of cute/talking animals (the first Pixar film to eschew these according to imdb) or the overall sophistication (not sure exactly what I mean by that, but whatever) of the story telling. Or maybe it's because it's movie length (120 minutes) instead of cartoon length (typically less than 90 minutes). In any case, it would have made a great live action film, though of course it worked splendidly as it is.

Didn't recognise Holly Hunter as Elasti Girl... she must have dropped her accent. Scene stealing hameo by creator Brad Bird as the androgynous fashion designer to the heroes Edna.

I wonder how many people will think that the upcoming Fantastic Four movie is a rip-off of The Incredibles rather than vice versa.

How wonderful it is! Today, I had seen the film - "The Incredibles" this afternoon, My father also had seen this film in this evening. This cartoon movie is powered by Disney-Pixar.
In this film, I love the people's sensation, scene, bugbears. The scene is so sublime.
With the great imagination.
